Barossa Green and Inligo Networks announce a strategic collaboration to design and deliver high-capacity telecommunications infrastructure to support the Barossa Green regional AI Infrastructure precinct at Ebenezer (Barossa Valley) in South Australia.
The collaboration will address connectivity solutions that support the development of a renewable-powered digital infrastructure platform integrating AI, renewable energy generation, advanced water management, and continued agricultural activity.
Through this collaboration, Barossa Green and Inligo Networks will assess the telecommunications requirements and opportunities needed to connect the precinct to Inligo’s Unite Cable System, delivering resilient, high-capacity network connectivity to support future AI workloads and regional digital infrastructure.

The Unite Cable System will provide alternate, low latency, high capacity transmission service paths between customers in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Darwin with connections into South East Asia and the Indo Pacific, all delivered on a unified optical platform across the terrestrial and subsea cable systems.
The Unite Cable System is deploying through South Australia connecting to the Northern Territory, Victoria and New South Wales with completion expected in H2, 2028.
